Photogenic, mystical, resplendent and royal. Deepika Padukone sprinkles and spreads her regal charm in this eye-pleasing photoshoot for the September issue of Vogue.
She entered Bollywood in 2007, and merely five years on Deepika Padukone has become the most bankable actress of Bollywood with several hits and blockbusters like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express to her credit. The fashion bible Vogue is celebrating the actress’ spanking success, and has crowned her the new queen of Bollywood in their latest issue.
Let’s crown the queen! Deepika Padukone graces the cover wearing a velvet crown and a splendid Marchesa gown in ruby pink. The rest of the shoot too has the sexy Deeps showing off her picture-perfect looks in haute couture. That’s justified as the theme of the shoot is regal.
Also, the shoot is a fashion buff’s delight. Check out Deepika lazing around on a vintage couch wearing a dazzling gown by Giles or posing like a mermaid in an Atsu Sekhose sheer gown. Not to be missed is her hot look in Julien Macdonald’s fringy dress which gives a peek at her amazingly toned legs.
Besides glamming up Vogue with her sensuality and poise, Deepika even pours her heart out to the magazine. Yes, she talks about Ranbir Kapoor, and why she doesn’t care with whom he is going around. “I don’t care. Whoever he’s dating, whoever he marries, she will have to deal with this. We share something special,” says Deepika Padukone.
Interestingly, she would like to cast both Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh (her alleged present flame) as her court jesters.
